This is important..very important. This is how the game is played and if people follow these rules this should be a camping trip.

HOW TO PLAY

Like many RPG's the basic objective is to assume the role of a character and guide them through another world. Your character can explore, get many weapons, and yes even kill other characters. So, now that we have that out of the way, let's begin.

Structure:


Since this is a forum RPG, we will be doing paragraph Role Playing. What this means is when you post, be sure to write in paragraph format.

Example:

As Fungus walked along the narrow pathway to the Pagan Village, he stopped and looked up toward the night sky. He cocked his head, some of the beads that were woven into his long matted hair, jingled a bit.

"Bes a lovely night. The Woodsie must be in a goodsie mood."


Like that.

Please remain in character, if you are playing a pagan, speak like they would in the games and same goes to the Hammerites and Mechanists. No your pagan doesn't have to have a squeaky voice....

If you are interacting with another player's character, you have to include them in your post. Please do not speak for the character as they are not yours to fiddle with.

Example:

Fungus turned to look at Birtch, he eyed his campanion for several minutes. Placing a hand on the other Pagan's shoulder he whispered.

"Nice night"




CHARACTERS


Your character must follow the rules of the faction/rank/class they are in. This means no switching Factions and Factions cannot mingle with eachother. I don't want to see Hammerites and Pagans making babies with eachother unless there is a pretty damn good reason. Your character may learn secondary skills.

I will allow a Pagan to learn metalworking (minor like sword crafting) and a Hammerite to learn alchemy (potions).

Please remain in character, stick to your character sheet and we will get along fine.


CHOOSING A FACTION

Choose wisely because changing a Faction isn't allowed unless with a damn good reason. If your character leaves their faction, they become a rogue and can be hunted down by that faction if leaders chose to (Keepers will do this so pick wisely with this one). If you need help playing a faction, don't be afraid to ask. Smile They can always come back to the Faction if the Leader allows it.

Keepers
Mechanists
Hammerites
Pagans
City Watch
Downwinders
Nobility
