Name: Vashek
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Hair Colour: Dark brown
Eye Colour: Pale blue
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 130 lbs
Faction: Commoner. Ex-Hammerite novice
Occupation (if one): House breaker, informant, general ne'er-do-well.
Appearence: Vashek has very boyish, handsome features. He readily smiles and always stands close
to people. He has a scruffy beard but a hairless chest (always peeking through his collars). His
standard clothes include a tatty, too-large blouse, leather vests with tatty sewn on hoods, cloth
pants, scuffed brown soft-heal boots and leather bracers. He wears a trademark red cap and his
clothes are indentifiable by the use of red thread for stitching and accents (showing a subtle
allegience to the Hammerites).
Special Markings (tattoos, scars ect..): Appart from the usual boy-hood scars, nothing special.
Bio: The third of five sons to a blacksmith, Vashek was raised in poverty and choas. He fell in
with local kids commiting petty thefts till Hammerite justice gave him a choice between the
stocks or novicedom. Choosing wisely, Vashek started out as a promising recruit. He learned to
read, write and looked set towards becoming a scribe. Nearing his 14th birthday, however, things
began to sour and he began to rebel against his teachers. He was sent, along with other 'trouble
makers', to study under (then) Brother Marlowe's watchful eye. Obviously deeply unhappy with
becomming a Hammerite, Marlowe saw no choice but to urge the boy to move on and seek his path
elsewhere.
Four years later, Vashek pays his way with simple house-breaking jobs and petty theft. Not
talented enough to join the Downwinders, nor important enough for the watch to take notice, he
drifts from district to district. His only real tie is to Father Marlowe, whome he visits
constantly. Acting as a spy for him, he gathers intel on Mechanist and Pagan movements and
sympathisers. Despite his somewhat bad circumstances, Vashek is a happy boy, if rather habitually
unlucky. His confidence is infectious and he has a warm, friendly nature, with no true alliegence
to anything or anyone except Father Marlowe.
